  • Basic stealth opener: Heart of Flame->Shadowy Disguise+Weapon Swap->[Heavy Attack]+Molten Whip+Bash->[Light Attack]+Dazing Knife->[Light Attack]+Surprise Attack/Merciless Resolve. You can also do this in other order and open up with the Merciless Resolve and land Molten Whip with the stun.

  • Maximum burst rotation (against tankier opponents): Heart of Flame->Surprise Attack (get Off Balance from it by flanking your opponent)->Incapacitating Strike (make sure you don’t have 120 ultimate, as you don’t want to stun with this!)->[Medium Weave for Off Balance stun]->Molten Whip+Bash. Make sure to have Gorethief and Frenzied Momentum stacked up and cast Bloody Soul on target before for Major Breach and DoT.

  • While the build isn’t exactly a ranged build, you can soften up your targets before going for burst by doing ranged damage to them with Bloody Souls and Merciless Resolves as well as stun them with Dazing Knives.

  • When playing Stamina Nightblade, make sure to utilize as many “Delayed Weaves”, aka Roll Catches as you can, as most of the Nightblade damage is usually dodgeable.

  • Zoal the Ever-Wakeful also allows for a lot of counter-burst opportunities, so if you think you can survive without healing it can be worth it to go for a stacked Molten Whip on the targets stunned for example.

  • You can easily stack your Molten Whip before engaging by casting Heart of Flame a few times!

  • Be very careful when engaging and utilize speed to your advantage.

  • Make sure to keep Heart of Flame up, as this is where almost all your sustain comes from.

  • If you’re fighting opponents with roots or snares, you can anticipate those and cast Race Against Time before engaging to not be rooted and snared immediately.

  • Pick your targets carefully, you have the luxury of time and the element of surprise when utilizing stealth. Unless you know the target to be squishy, you’ll want to go for low health opponents.
