Gameplay Tips

• Usual Burst Rotation: [Light Attack]+Heart of Flame (make sure to have Molten Whip stacked)+Weapon Swap->[Heavy Attack]+Chains of Dominance->[Light Attack]+Molten Whip->[Light Attack]+Acid Spray->[Light Attack]+Acid Spray->[Light Attack]+Acid Spray… you can also activate Toxic Barrage here if you have it available and want to push more single target damage.

 

• For additional damage, activate Corrosive Armor before pulling target to you. Make sure to try and stay on top of your opponent afterwards for Corrosive damage.

 

• For maximum single target burst: [Heavy Attack]+Molten Whip after setting your opponent Off Balance.

 

• For AoE damage, just Acid Spray after activating Corrosive Armor. 

 

• You can also use the Acid Spray to uncloak nightblades very easily and to counter dodge roll.

 

• Defensively, if you’re getting pressured in melee range block for a bit on back bar and cast Fleetstep Wings, then sprint away from opponents & go for Elder Dragon Blood->Resolving Vigor. Try to keep wings up as much as possible as they provide mitigation similar to blocking against ranged damage.

 

• Keep up Heart of Flame at all times, this is very important for sustain.
